Midnight Review on This Is Classical Guitar

Amazing review of Midnight by Bradford Werner of This Is Classical Guitar. Thank you! Read the review here. Midnight by Uros Baric is filled with beautiful performances, sensitive phrasing, as well as elegant and colourful arrangements. His use of guitar orchestration perfectly suits the collection of works creating a warmth for the album that we wish would never end. Ample cross-string legato, flowing melodic phrasing, and a very sensitive touch make this album truly virtuosic in its musicality. Highly recommend.

Bidla Review by This Is Classical Guitar

From Baroque flair to modern soundscapes the Agnew McAllister Duo deliver virtuosity, beauty, and solid musicianship making Bidla a top ensemble pick for 2015. The recording quality is excellent and the mix of old and new, solo and duo, is surprisingly easy to take in. All the new music will interest aficionados but general listeners will find everything listenable and melodic. The duo’s biggest strength is their sensible musicianship. They are always expressive and natural sounding adding showiness only where…
